  Introduction The  Women’s Reservation Bill  has been passed by both the  Lok Sabha  and the  Rajya Sabha  in India. The bill seeks to amend the Constitution of India to reserve  one-third of all seats  in the lower house of Parliament, the Lok Sabha, and in all state legislative assemblies for women. This landmark legislation was passed with an overwhelming majority, with  454 members voting in favor  and only  2 against  it in the Lok Sabha. The Rajya Sabha also passed the bill with  215 votes in favor . What is the Women's Reservation Bill?
